Do think about joining our first "Picnic on the Beach" this summer. It's always great to meet up in this way for a chat, and it's cheaper than a café!

Come along to Bournemouth West Beach. Just take a ten-minute walk from Bournemouth Pier ... stroll past The Oceanarium and Happylands Amusements ... and keep a lookout for our meeting area which is around Beach Hut No. 12B (a turquoise beach hut just before the cliff lift, which is now back in action). Organisers, Bob & Jackie, will "pitch camp" by 12 noon. (The town centre car parks are very expensive, but several bus routes do stop at Bournemouth Pier.)

Bring everything you need: food, drinks, and something to sit on. We hope you can all join us; and, by all means, bring along a friend.

We are hoping for lovely sunshine, but on the day, if it's a bit cooler than we would like, it won't put us off. But, if it's really unpleasant, then we won't be martyrs!.
